As a counselor I have worked in a community college setting for over ten years and loved it!  The day to day interactions with students challenged, inspired and motivated me.  Since 2007 I have been on another rewarding endeavor working at the Online Support Center with the Higher Education Veterans Programs, Veterans Re-Entry Education Program and now also providing support for the Minnesota Department of Veteran's Affairs LinkVet line and www.MinnesotaVeteran.org site.

As a Distance Credentialed Counselor at the Online Support Center I work to connect veterans, military members and their families with educational benefits and resources available to help them succeed in college.  I also provide career assessment, interpretation and counseling services to veterans.

In supporting LinkVet, I am part of a team dedicated to assisting veterans and family members by providing up-to-date information on education, medical, employment, and other state and federal benefits and resources.
